Alpha Modification of Eagle’s Medium can be used with a variety of suspension and adherent mammalian cells, including keratinocytes, primary rat astrocytes, and human melanoma cells. It can also be used for transfected DHFR negative cells. A variety of AMEM is available for a range of cell culture applications.
