Horse Serum, USDA approved, STERILE
Horse serum can be used as a viable FBS alternative in some cell culture applications. Horse serum tend to exhibit lower growth factor and higher immunoglobulin levels than FBS. Horse Serum can be used as a media supplement in the differentiation medium to culture the pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells, in immunocytochemistry and immunohistichemistry and to study the therapeutic effect of serum treatment on cardiomyocyte viability.
