Pluronic F-68 is a non-ionic surfactant that protects cells from hydrodynamic damage, including freezing and thawing, transfer and stirring. It can also be used to reduce foaming in stirred cultures and reduce cell attachment to glass and for in vitro isolation of lymphocytes from diluted whole blood.
